Walloon is a special language that comes from Latin, just like French and Spanish. It's part of a group called the oïl languages. Other languages in this group include French, Picard, and Norman.
You can hear Walloon spoken mainly in Wallonia, which is a region in Belgium. It's also spoken in a few villages in Wisconsin in the United States.
About 3.4 million people speak Walloon.
