The New Jersey Women's Hall of Fame celebrates amazing women from New Jersey! It was started in 2011 by the YWCA of Trenton, in Trenton, New Jersey. This special hall of fame honors women who have done great things and made a big difference in their communities and beyond.

Honoring New Jersey's Amazing Women

The New Jersey Women's Hall of Fame was created to recognize and celebrate women who have achieved incredible things. Each year, new women are added to the Hall of Fame at a special event called the Annual Induction Gala, usually held in the spring.

When someone is inducted, they receive a beautiful award called the Gerber Daisy Award. This award was first made in 2011 by a company called Boehm Porcelain, located in Trenton. The very first group of women was honored on March 31, 2011.

The YWCA of Trenton, which started this Hall of Fame, is an organization that has been helping people since 1904. Their main goals are to help women become strong and independent, to stop racism, and to encourage peace, fairness, freedom, and respect for everyone.
