Sports Hall of Fame of New Jersey facts for kids
The Sports Hall of Fame of New Jersey is a special place that celebrates amazing athletes, teams, and people who have done great things in sports, all connected to New Jersey. It started in 1988. Even though there isn't a building you can visit, the people honored here have special plaques. You can see these plaques at the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford.
The first group of sports heroes joined the Hall in May 1993. New members are honored at a public ceremony, often during New York Giants football games. This is a way to celebrate their achievements in front of many fans.
