New Kingstown is a small community in Pennsylvania, United States. It is located in Silver Spring Township, which is part of Cumberland County. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area identified by the government for collecting population data.
In 2010, about 495 people lived in New Kingstown. By 2020, the population had grown to 709 people. New Kingstown is also part of the larger Harrisburg–Carlisle metropolitan statistical area. This is a region that includes Harrisburg and Carlisle, important cities in Pennsylvania.

Where is New Kingstown Located?
New Kingstown is found southwest of the center of Silver Spring Township. You can find it along U.S. Route 11, which is also called Carlisle Pike.
This main road connects New Kingstown to other towns. If you travel west on US 11 for about 7.5 miles (12 km), you will reach Carlisle. Carlisle is the main town, or county seat, of Cumberland County. If you go east on US 11 for about 14 miles (23 km), you will arrive in Harrisburg. Harrisburg is the capital city of Pennsylvania.
