New Lisbon is a small community located in Pemberton Township. This township is part of Burlington County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is called an unincorporated community. This means it's a recognized place, but it doesn't have its own separate local government like a town or city.
You can find New Lisbon where Four Mile Road (County Route 646) meets Mount Misery Road (CR 645). Long ago, a railway called the Philadelphia and Long Branch Railway passed through here. It later became part of the Pennsylvania Railroad. New Lisbon even had its own train station.
