Newk's Eatery started in 2004. It was first called Newk's Express Café. A father and son, Don and Chris Newcomb, created it. Their first restaurant opened in Oxford, Mississippi.
Before Newk's, the Newcombs had already built another restaurant chain. They created and then sold a company called McAlister's Deli.
New Name and Look
