Nhuwala Traditional Lands

The Nhuwala people lived on their traditional lands. These lands were about 2,200 square miles. That's a very large area! Their country was along the coastal plain. It also went about 40 miles inland.

Their land started near Cape Preston. This is close to where the Fortescue River meets the Indian Ocean. It was southwest of a town called Onslow. Their lands did not reach the Ashburton River. That area belonged to the Thalanyji people.
