Niña de mi corazón (which means Girl of My Heart in English, but its English title is A Double Identity) is a fun Mexican TV show called a telenovela. It was made by Pedro Damián for Televisa in 2010. This show is a new version of an older Mexican telenovela called Mi pequeña traviesa, which was also made by Pedro Damián.

The main actors in Niña de mi corazón are Paulina Goto and Erick Elías. They play the heroes of the story. Maribel Guardia and Arturo Peniche also have important roles. The characters who cause trouble in the show are played by Lorena Herrera, Lisette Morelos, Julio Camejo, and Martha Julia.

The Exciting Story of Andrea

Andrea Paz (Paulina Goto) is a 17-year-old girl from a regular family. Her biggest dream is to finish school and become a lawyer. But her plans change suddenly when her father, Benigno (played by José Elías Moreno), gets into an accident and ends up in a wheelchair. Andrea's mother is no longer around, and she has two younger brothers to take care of. This means Andrea has to put her dreams on hold. She needs to start working to pay the bills and support her family.

Andrea's Double Life Begins

A family friend named Vittorio helps Andrea get a job at a law firm owned by Maximo (Arturo Peniche). She becomes the assistant to Maximo's son, Darío (Erick Elías). However, Darío's girlfriend, Moira (Lisette Morelos), doesn't like that Darío is working with a woman. She convinces Maximo to fire Andrea and hire a man instead.

But Andrea is smart and determined! She comes back to the law firm disguised as a man, pretending to be her own twin brother, Andrés. After a while, Maximo offers Andrea a second job as a receptionist. Now, Andrea has two jobs and two secret identities. She has to be very clever and quick to keep her secret safe and manage both roles!
