Nicholas Castle (born September 21, 1947) is an American screenwriter, film director, and actor. He is famous for playing the scary character Michael Myers in the horror movie Halloween (1978). He also appeared briefly as Michael Myers in the movie Halloween (2018).

Nick Castle also helped write the movie Escape from New York (1981) with John Carpenter. After his role in Halloween, Castle started directing films. Some of the movies he directed include The Last Starfighter (1984), The Boy Who Could Fly (1986), Dennis the Menace (1993), and Major Payne (1995).

Playing Michael Myers

In 2018, Nick Castle made a special appearance as Michael Myers in the movie Halloween. He also provided the breathing sounds for Michael Myers in the movie. Another actor, James Jude Courtney, did most of the stunts for Michael Myers. Castle described his part as a "cameo," which means a very brief appearance.

Nick Castle has won several awards for his work. He received a Saturn Award for Best Writing for The Boy Who Could Fly. He also won a Silver Raven for Delivering Milo and a Grand Prize for The Last Starfighter.
