Nicolas Carl Hamilton (born 28 March 1992) is a British racing driver. He is currently racing in the British Touring Car Championship for the Powder Monkey Brewing Co with Esidock team. Nicolas uses a special car that has been changed to help him race, because he has cerebral palsy.
Nicolas is the half-brother of Lewis Hamilton, who is a seven-time Formula One World Champion.

Nicolas Hamilton's Racing Journey
Early Racing Days
Nicolas Hamilton started his racing career in the Renault Clio Cup United Kingdom in 2011. He drove for a team called Total Control Racing. Even though he finished last in his very first race, many fans and news reporters were interested in his story. His first season was even featured in a BBC show called Racing with the Hamiltons: Nic in the Driving Seat.
In 2013, Nicolas moved on to race in the European Touring Car Cup. He drove a SEAT León Supercopa car for Baporo Motorsport.
British Touring Car Championship
In 2015, Nicolas made history by joining the British Touring Car Championship. He became the first disabled driver to compete in this series. He raced an Audi S3 for AmD Tuning in five races that year.
Later, in 2019, Nicolas got a full-time spot with the Motorbase Performance team. He raced alongside drivers Tom Chilton and Ollie Jackson.

On 21 February 2020, it was announced that Nicolas would drive a Volkswagen CC for Team HARD. He kept his ROKiT sponsorship. In the final race at Brands Hatch that year, Nicolas earned his first-ever point in the BTCC. He finished the race in 15th place, which was a big achievement.
Nicolas continued to race in the British Touring Car Championship in 2021, 2022, and 2023. He raced a Cupra León for different teams. In 2023, he scored 10 points and finished 24th overall. He is also competing in the 2025 season with Powder Monkey Brewing Co with Esidock.
Media Career
Beyond racing, Nicolas has also worked in television. On 8 March 2016, it was announced that he would be part of Channel 4's team that presents Formula One races.
