Nicholas William Hamilton (born 4 May 2000) is an Australian actor and musician. He is famous for his roles in movies and TV shows. Some of his well-known characters include Rellian in Captain Fantastic (2016), Henry Bowers in It Chapter One (2017) and Chapter Two (2019), and the superhero Maverick in Gen V (2023).

Early life
Nicholas Hamilton was born in Lismore, New South Wales, Australia, on May 4, 2000. He grew up in a town called Alstonville. He finished high school in Alstonville in 2018. Nicholas has a brother, Joshua, and two sisters, Rebecca and Rachel.
Nicholas first started acting when he played Elvis Presley in a school play in fifth grade. He wasn't sure about it at first, but he really enjoyed practicing and performing. After that, he joined a local acting group to continue his passion.
Career
Acting
Nicholas Hamilton first got noticed in 2013 for a short film called Time. In this film, he played a young boy who believed he could travel through time. Time was a finalist at the 2013 Tropfest Short Film Festival. Nicholas even won an award there for Best Male Actor. This helped him get the attention of an acting agent.
He began his professional acting career with a role in the TV show Mako: Island of Secrets. He also appeared in short films like Jackrabbit and Letter to Annabelle.
Nicholas's first role in a full-length movie was in the Australian film Strangerland. He played the son of characters played by Nicole Kidman and Joseph Fiennes. In 2016, he had a guest role in the TV series Wanted.
His first role in an American movie was as Rellian in Captain Fantastic in 2016. For this role, he was nominated for an award called Best Supporting Actor at the Young Artist Awards. He was also part of the cast nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
In 2017, Nicholas played Lucas Hanson in the movie The Dark Tower. That same year, he took on his most famous role as Henry Bowers in the horror film IT. To get ready for the role, he read the original book the movie was based on. He returned as a younger Henry Bowers in It Chapter Two, which came out in 2019.
In 2018, it was announced that Nicholas would play Private Noel Grimes in Danger Close. This Australian film is about a real battle called the Battle of Long Tan. He also appeared in Endless as Chris, a teenager stuck in a strange place trying to reach his true love.
In June 2021, Nicholas was in Season 2 of Hulu's Love, Victor. He also played Trilby in Action Royale, a Snapchat series. In this show, Trilby is a teenager who starts an underground esports gambling ring. Nicholas is also set to appear in a true-story film called Brave the Dark. In this movie, he plays Nate, a homeless teenager trying to find his way. On Prime Video's The Boys spinoff Gen V, Nicholas Hamilton voiced the invisible superhero Maverick.
In 2024, Nicholas played Stu in The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh for Amazon Freevee. He will also play Tod in Lionsgate's upcoming film Do Not Enter, and Lance Lunar in Things Like This.
Music
In January 2021, Nicholas Hamilton released his first song, "Different Year". After that, he released more songs like "noRoom" (a duet with Savs), "In Line", and "Pretty Young". "Pretty Young" became the title song for his first music collection, an EP, released in 2021. This EP also included songs called "Everything to Lose" and "Intro".
Nicholas released his song "Alone" in May 2023. He also had his first concert in May 2023 at Rockwood Music Hall, and all the tickets were sold out! His next song, "Spins", came out on June 16, 2023.
Personal life
In 2019, when he was 18 years old, Nicholas Hamilton moved from Australia to Los Angeles in the United States. He has a dog named Nala.
