Nicolette Kloe Robinson, born on April 18, 1988, is an American actress. She is famous for playing Jane in the TV show The Affair. She also made her first appearance on Broadway in the musical Waitress, where she played Jenna.

Early Life and Education
Nicolette Robinson was born in Los Angeles, California, on April 18, 1988. Her mother is Jewish, and her father is African-American. She often jokes that her family "looks like the U.N." because of their diverse backgrounds.
Nicolette went to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). There, she studied musical theater. While at UCLA, she performed in many stage plays. She was also part of UCLA's Awaken A Cappella singing group. She received special awards, like the Gant Gaither Theater Award, from the Princess Grace Foundation-USA. She also earned a scholarship from the Jackie Robinson Foundation.
Family Life
In 2012, Nicolette Robinson married actor Leslie Odom Jr.. They first met in 2008. At that time, Nicolette was trying out for a role in the musical Once on This Island in Los Angeles. Leslie Odom Jr. was the assistant director for the show.
Leslie was in charge of helping Nicolette get used to her role. She was replacing another actress in the play. After the show finished its run, Nicolette and Leslie started dating. Leslie Odom Jr. later became very well-known for playing Aaron Burr in the famous musical Hamilton.
Nicolette and Leslie have two children. Their daughter, Lucille Ruby, was born on April 23, 2017. Their son, Able Phineas, was born on March 25, 2021.
