Ma. Alinica Valdez-Garcia (born January 25, 1979), known professionally as Nikki Valdez, is a popular Filipino actress and singer. She is known for her roles in many television shows and movies in the Philippines.
Career Highlights
Nikki Valdez began her acting career in the late 1990s. She became well-known for her role in the TV series F.L.A.M.E.S. and for singing the ballad "Meron Ba?" for a movie soundtrack.
After a short break, she returned to television in 2009 in the Precious Hearts Romances series. She appeared in two stories from this series: Ang Lalaking Nagmahal sa Akin and Somewhere in My Heart.
Over the years, Nikki has been part of many successful TV shows. In 2010, she acted in Magkano ang Iyong Dangal? and the popular fantasy series Imortal, alongside famous actors John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin. In 2012, she was part of the afternoon drama Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo.
She continues to be an active actress, appearing in various television dramas, comedies, and movies.
Personal Life
Nikki Valdez was married to Christopher Lina from 2007 to 2011. They have a daughter together. After their marriage ended, Nikki moved back to the Philippines to continue her acting career.
In 2018, Nikki married Luis Garcia, a sales executive at the TV network ABS-CBN. They held a private wedding ceremony in Hong Kong.
