Nina Viktorovna Shtanski (Romanian: Nina Ștanski; Russian: Нина Викторовна Штански; born 10 April 1977) is a former important public figure from Transnistria. She served as the Deputy Prime Minister for International Cooperation and the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. She held these roles from January 24, 2012, to September 2, 2015. Nina Shtanski also earned a Ph.D. degree in 2012. This is a high academic achievement. She was recognized as an honored foreign service officer in Transnistria. She also held the high diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. This means she was a top representative for her country.

Early Life and Education
Nina Shtanski was born on April 10, 1977. Her birthplace was Tiraspol, which was then part of the Moldavian SSR. Today, Tiraspol is in Moldova. She studied law at the Transnistrian State University. This university is named after T.G. Shevchenko. Nina Shtanski has mentioned that her family has Polish roots.
Academic Achievements
On December 24, 2012, Nina Shtanski completed her Ph.D. Her research focused on the "Problems of the conflict in Transnistria / Moldova: International Aspects." This study looked at the international side of the issues between Transnistria and Moldova.
Career in Government
Nina Shtanski began her career in government in 2002. She worked at the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The Supreme Council is like the parliament or main law-making body.

In September 2015, Nina Shtanski left her government positions. She married Yevgeny Shevchuk, who was the President of Transnistria at the time. In January 2016, she gave birth to her second child.
