Where is Nittany?

Nittany is located in Walker Township. It sits near the edge of Centre County. Right next to it is Lamar in Clinton County.

The community is nestled in the beautiful Nittany Valley. This valley is between Nittany Mountain to the southeast and Sand Ridge to the northwest.

Getting Around Nittany

The center of Nittany is where two main roads meet. These are Pennsylvania Route 64 and Pennsylvania Route 445.

Route 64 goes northeast for about 3 miles (4.8 km) to Interstate 80. It also goes southwest about 9 miles (14.5 km) to Zion. Route 445 heads southeast for about 12 miles (19.3 km). It crosses Nittany and Brush mountains to reach Millheim.
