In September 2014, Vogue.com named him one of the 'Top 10 Male Models of All Time'. He has been a key face in many campaigns for famous brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, and Gap. Models.com has called him "one of the most sought after names in the industry." Since 2021, he has starred as Jesse Boone on the CBS TV series NCIS: Hawaiʻi.

Early Life and Beginnings

Noah Mills was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, before attending boarding schools in Canada and Australia. After finishing boarding school in Canada, he planned to go to college to study psychology.

One day, a talent scout noticed him and asked if he would be interested in modeling. Soon after, he moved to New York City. Just a few weeks later, he got his first big modeling job, walking the runway for Gucci. Noah is the youngest of five children; he has two older brothers and two older sisters.

Modeling Career Highlights

Noah Mills started his modeling career in 2001. He quickly began working with many fashion companies, including Wilhelmina Models. In 2004, he made his first appearance on the runway for the fall collections of Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent in Milan and Paris. In early 2005, he signed a special contract with Dolce & Gabbana.

He has been a regular model for major fashion shows like Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, and Michael Kors for many seasons. In 2011, Mills became one of the models for Lacoste's "new look" campaign. This campaign had a different advertising idea called "Unconventional Chic." The ads showed models wearing the classic white Lacoste polo shirts over fancy black evening clothes.

In 2012, Models.com ranked Noah Mills as number three on their list of "The Money Guys," which highlights top-earning models. In 2013, he was ranked number five. Also in 2013, Forbes magazine named him one of the world's best-paid male models. In September 2015, Mills was featured on the cover of Details magazine, along with thirty other top male models.

Acting Roles and Films

Noah Mills has also built a successful acting career. In 2010, he appeared in the movie ... and the City 2, acting alongside Kim Cattrall's character, Samantha Jones.

From 2011 to 2012, Mills had a role in the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls. He played Robbie, who was the boyfriend of Max, a character played by Kat Dennings. He also appeared in Taylor Swift's 2012 music video for her song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", playing her former love interest.

In 2012, Mills starred in Candyland, a short film. This 19-minute art film explored serious issues. In 2013, he starred in WRACKED, another short film that he also wrote and helped produce. In WRACKED, Mills played Sean, a character who returns home after spending five years in prison. For this role, Noah Mills won the best actor prize at the 2013 Golden Egg Film Festival.
