Nokkakivi is a fun amusement park located in Lievestuore, Laukaa, Finland. Its name means Beak Rock in English. The park is easy to find, as it's right along Highway 9. It's about 24 kilometers (15 miles) from the city of Jyväskylä. Bellingham Oy owns this exciting park.
Nokkakivi is the newest amusement park in Finland. What makes it really special is that it was created by one person's dream. Most other Finnish amusement parks are started by big companies. Nokkakivi opened its doors on June 15, 2007.
One ride at Nokkakivi has a very interesting past. The Round Up ride has been enjoyed in many Finnish parks for a long time. It was at Linnanmäki from 1961 to 1976. Then it moved to Särkänniemi in 1977. Later, it was at Tykkimäki from 1986 to 2002. Finally, it found its home at Nokkakivi when the park first opened.
