Norsjö is a small town, also called a locality, located in Västerbotten County in Sweden. It is the main town, or "seat," of Norsjö Municipality. In 2010, about 2,051 people lived there.
Norsjö is known as the birthplace of several famous people. These include the writer Torgny Lindgren, the singer, actor, and musician Tommy Körberg, and the American author Charlotte Agell. Charlotte Agell now lives in Maine, United States.
This Swedish town also appears in the popular novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson.
