The School's Story
For many years, North Howell had its own school, the North Howell Elementary School. This school was part of the Gervais School District. However, the elementary school closed its doors in 2002.
After the school closed, many students from the North Howell area started attending schools in nearby towns. Some went to schools in Silverton, while others went to schools in Gervais.
In 2009, the old North Howell school building found a new purpose. It was leased to St. John Bosco High School. This is a private Catholic high school that now uses the building for its students.
