Northeast District Park has tons of cool things to do! Whether you love sports, playing outside, or just relaxing, there's something for you.

• Play Ball! There's a special baseball field with bright lights for evening games and bleachers where your friends and family can cheer you on.
• Tennis Time! If you like tennis, you'll find two courts ready for a match. Grab your racket and a friend for some fun!
• Big Sports Field! There's a huge multipurpose field, about the size of a football field, perfect for soccer, ultimate frisbee, American football, rugby, or any other field sport you can imagine. It also has bleachers for spectators.
• Picnic and Play! You can enjoy a yummy picnic at the shelter, which has a nice view of the park's pond. Right nearby, there's a fantastic playground where you can climb, swing, and slide.
• Walk and Explore! A paved walking trail, about a quarter-mile long, goes all the way around the pond. It's a great place for a walk, a jog, or just to enjoy nature.
• Restrooms and Snacks! The park has a building with restrooms and a concession stand, so you can grab a drink or a snack when you need a break.
• Easy Parking! There's plenty of parking space, making it easy for you and your family to visit.

The Park's History

The beautiful pond you see in the park today was actually part of a farm that was on this land a long time ago, before it became the amazing park we know!
