Norwalk is a small village located in Monroe County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2020, about 611 people lived there.

History of Norwalk
Norwalk got its name from Selium McGary, an early settler in Monroe County. He named it after Norwalk, Ohio, where he used to live. The village is on what was once a main railroad line called the Chicago and North Western. In the 1960s, this old railway became the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail, a popular path for biking and walking.

Norwalk is located in Wisconsin at coordinates 43°50′00″N 90°37′27″W / 43.833261°N 90.624091°W.
The United States Census Bureau says the village covers about 1.03 square miles (2.67 square kilometers) of land. There is no water area within the village limits.
Population and People
The population of Norwalk has changed over the years. In 1880, there were 281 people. By 2000, the population grew to 653. In the 2010 census, 638 people lived in the village.

In 2010, there were 638 people living in Norwalk. These people made up 215 households and 144 families. The village had about 607 people per square mile (234 people per square kilometer).
Most of the people in Norwalk were White (70.1%). About 27.3% were from other racial backgrounds, and 1.4% were from two or more races. A significant part of the population, 35.1%, identified as Hispanic or Latino.
Many households (38.6%) had children under 18 living with them. About half of the households (50.2%) were married couples. The average household had almost three people, and the average family had about three and a half people.
