Nucleya's Musical Journey
Starting Out
Udyan Sagar began his music journey way back in 1998. He helped start a music group called Bandish Projekt. He worked with them for about 12 years. In 2007, Udyan decided to go solo and became "Nucleya." It was a bit tough at first, but he kept going.
Finding His Sound
Nucleya found his unique sound by getting ideas from South Indian film music and lively Indian street music. He released his first collection of songs, called an EP, named Koocha Monster in 2013. This was a big step for him.
Releasing Albums
In 2015, Nucleya launched his first full album, Bass Rani. He did something really cool for its release: he launched it during a Ganpati visarjan festival on the streets of Mumbai! This showed how much he loved mixing his music with Indian culture. The next year, in 2016, he released another album called Raja Baja. In 2019, he gave us Tota Myna.
More recently, in 2021, Nucleya teamed up with another artist, Ritviz, to release an EP called Baaraat. This EP had four tracks and even came with special digital collectibles called NFTs.
Live Performances and TV Shows
Nucleya is not just a studio artist; he loves performing live! He has played at huge music festivals around the world. These include EDC in Las Vegas and Mexico, the NH7 Weekender in India, and the Sunburn Festival. He has also performed at Zomaland, Vh1 Supersonic, and YouTube Fanfest.
He has even shared the stage with famous international DJs like Skrillex, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and Krewella. Nucleya also helped choose winners for the Bacardi House Party Sessions in 2017. He was also a judge on the Indian hip hop TV show MTV Hustle.

Udyan Sagar got married to his longtime girlfriend, Smriti Choudhary, in 2008. They have a son named Guri, who was born in 2011. The family lives in Goa, a beautiful state in India. You might even hear Guri on some of Nucleya's songs, where he's known as "Guri Gangsta"!
