Núria Rial (born in 1975 in Manresa, Catalonia) is a talented Spanish singer. She is a soprano, which means she sings in the highest voice range for women. Núria is especially known for her beautiful performances of music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. These are older styles of music from hundreds of years ago.
She often sings works by famous composers like Handel and Monteverdi. Her singing also includes pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach and roles from operas by Mozart. She performs many different kinds of songs, including German, French, Catalan, and Castilian art songs.
Núria's Musical Journey
Núria Rial started her music studies in 1995. She went to the Barcelona Conservatory. There, she earned diplomas in both singing and playing the piano.
From 1998 to 2002, she continued her advanced studies. She joined a special class called Konzertklasse with Kurt Widmer. This was at the Music Academy of Basel in Switzerland. She finished her studies there with a diploma as a soloist. This means she was ready to perform on her own.

- In 2009, she received the ECHO Klassik Award. This is a very important classical music award in Germany. She won in the category of Young Female Artist of the Year.
- In 2012, she won another ECHO Klassik Award. This time it was for the Opera Recording of the Year. This award was for her recordings of arias (songs from operas) by Georg Philipp Telemann. She performed these with the Kammerorchester Basel.
- In 2021, she was given the Traetta Prize. This Italian award celebrates people who help rediscover the roots of European music.
