Oak Center is a small place located in Wisconsin, United States. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that doesn't have its own official city or town government. Instead, it's part of a larger area called the town of Oakfield. Oak Center is found within Fond du Lac County.
How Oak Center Got Its Name
Oak Center received its name because of the many oak trees that grew there. When people first started to settle in this area, they noticed a beautiful group of oak trees near where the community began. Because of these strong, tall trees, they decided to call their new home Oak Center.
