What is Oakie Doke About?
Oakie Doke lives in a big oak tree. His home is like a treehouse! Every day, he starts his day by sliding down a fun slide that wraps around his tree. His best friends are the squirrels, mice, toads, hedgehogs, and moles who live in the forest.
At the beginning of each episode, one of his friends rings a bell at the bottom of his tree. This wakes Oakie Doke up! He then slides down to meet them. In a typical episode, one of his friends will have a small problem in the woods. Oakie Doke is always ready to help them right away! There's usually a little challenge, but Oakie Doke, often with the help of his other forest friends, always finds a way to solve it.
Sometimes, the problems happen because of Dave and Denzil, the two mischievous squirrels. They often do things without thinking about what might happen. But don't worry, they usually feel bad about it when Oakie Doke talks to them.
At the end of each episode, after everything is sorted out, Oakie Doke says something wise. He'll say, "Well, it's like I always say...", and then share a rhyming phrase. This phrase is always related to how they solved the problem. His friends always cheer and laugh when he says it!
