History of Oberhallau
Oberhallau and its neighbor, Hallau, were first mentioned in old writings way back in 1095. For a long time, Oberhallau was actually part of Hallau. This changed after a big event called the Peasants' War in 1653. After that, Oberhallau became its own separate community.
