Omari Jahi Palmer (born May 17, 1994) is an American professional wrestler. He is known by his wrestling names Oddyssey and Odyssey Jones. He used the name Odyssey Jones while working for WWE from 2019 to 2024.

Early Life and Sports
Omari Palmer was born in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in Coram, New York. When he was in high school, he played many sports. These included football, basketball, lacrosse, and wrestling.
In 2012, Omari went to Syracuse University. He studied sociology there. He also played football for the Syracuse Orange team. He played 36 games as an offensive guard. In 2016, during his last year, he got a leg injury.
Professional Wrestling Journey
Starting in WWE (2019–2021)
In June 2018, Omari Palmer tried out for WWE. This is a big professional wrestling company. In February 2019, WWE hired him. He went to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida to train.
In May 2019, Omari showed his strength. He set a new record at the WWE Performance Center. He lifted 800 lb (363 kg) using a trap bar deadlift. This beat the old record of 775 lb (352 kg).
He had his first wrestling match on November 7, 2019. He lost to Dexter Lumis at a live event. He wrestled a few more matches in late 2019 and early 2020. Then, he took a break for over a year.
Odyssey Jones in NXT (2021–2022)
Omari returned to wrestling in July 2021. He used a new wrestling name: "Odyssey Jones." He wrestled in matches before live TV shows. His first televised match was on WWE 205 Live on July 6. He won against Grayson Waller.
On July 20, he wrestled his first match on WWE NXT. He beat Andre Chase in a tournament. This was the WWE NXT Breakout Tournament. He then won his semi-final match. But he lost in the finals to Carmelo Hayes.
For the rest of 2021, Jones wrestled on NXT. He had rivalries with wrestlers who played the "bad guy" role. These included Andre Chase and the Diamond Mine. In January 2022, he got a serious injury. He hurt his patellar tendon during a match. He had surgery later that month.
Moving to Raw (2022–2024)
Odyssey Jones came back to NXT on October 25, 2022. He invited other wrestlers to a party. The next week, he wrestled again. He won his match against Javier Bernal.
In the 2023 WWE Draft, Jones was chosen to join the Raw wrestling team. In September 2023, he went to Hyderabad, India. He wrestled at an event called Superstar Spectacle. He lost to Bron Breakker.
In April 2024, Jones was again drafted to the Raw team. He started wrestling on Raw in August 2024. He began a storyline with The New Day. In September 2024, Jones left WWE due to personal reasons.
Wrestling Independently (2025–Present)
In February 2025, Omari Palmer started wrestling on his own. He used the name "Oddyssey." He wrestled A. J. Francis for a championship in Orlando, Florida. He did not win that match.
All Japan Pro Wrestling (2025–Present)
On July 18, 2025, it was announced that Oddyssey would wrestle in Japan. He will join All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW). He will be part of the Royal Road Tournament. His first match will be against Hideki Suzuki.
Wrestling Style
Odyssey Jones wrestles in a "powerhouse" style. This means he uses his strength to win matches. His special moves to finish a match include:
- A sidewalk slam
- A falling powerslam
- A diving splash
When he was in WWE, he wore orange and blue wrestling clothes. These colors were a nod to his college team, the Syracuse Orange. His nickname was "the Future Favorite."
