Discovering Science Across Oklahoma
In August 2008, the Oklahoma Museum Network started something exciting. Five interactive science exhibits began traveling between the partner museums. These exhibits move to a new museum about every six months. This way, more people across Oklahoma can enjoy them.
Learning and Sharing Ideas
The museums in the network also take part in special training programs. They share their best ideas on how to teach, raise money, and grow. This helps all the museums become even better.
Science on Wheels
The network also has a cool mobile museum called the Science Matters Mobile Museum. It's a big, 40-foot museum on wheels! This mobile museum travels to smaller towns and rural areas in Oklahoma. It brings exciting science activities directly to students who might not live near a big museum.
