Oli Brown signed with Ruf Records in January 2008. This German music label focuses on blues music. His first album, Open Road, came out in July 2008. It received many good reviews from music critics.

Oli's second album, Heads I Win Tails You Lose, was released in 2010. A famous producer named Mike Vernon helped make this album. In the same year, Oli played at the Glastonbury Festival for the first time. This is a very big music festival! Classic Rock magazine said Heads I Win Tails You Lose was the third best blues album of 2010. Another magazine, Mojo, called it the fourth best blues album that year.

Awards and Tours

At the 2010 British Blues Awards, Oli Brown won two big awards. He was named 'Best Male Vocalist' and 'Best Young Artist'. The next year, in 2011, Oli's band won 'Best Band' at the British Blues Awards. His album Heads I Win Tails You Lose was also named 'Best Album'. He was also a runner-up in other categories like 'Best Male Vocalist' and 'Best Guitarist'.

In 2011, Oli went on a 25-show tour across the UK. He was the opening act for the legendary musician John Mayall. Mayall was so impressed that he asked Oli to play lead guitar in his band. This happened when Mayall's regular guitarist could not go to the Indonesian Blues Festival in December 2011.

New Albums and Bands

Oli's third album, Here I Am, was released on April 23, 2012. It featured Scott Barnes on bass, Wayne Proctor on drums, and Joel White on keyboards. Other musicians like Dani Wilde and Paul Jones also played on the album. Here I Am quickly became number one on the Amazon, HMV, and iTunes blues charts. It was released in the United States in June 2012. Oli was nominated for 'Best Guitarist' and 'Best Young Artist' at the 2012 British Blues Awards.

On June 3, 2013, Oli opened a show for the famous guitarist Joe Satriani in Paris, France. He then released a live album called Songs From The Road on June 14, 2013.

In 2014, Oli started a new rock band called RavenEye. He formed the band with bassist Aaron Spiers and drummer Kev Hickman.

In 2022, Oli announced his newest music project. This is the band he is in now, Oli Brown & The Dead Collective.
