Riverside Drive, north of Eastvale, and between Euclid and Milliken Avenues. It's also near major freeways like Interstate 15 and State Route 60.

The Story of Ontario Ranch

This area was once mostly farmland and open space. People called it the "Ag Preserve" because it was kept for farming. In 1993, local leaders decided to let this land be used for homes and businesses instead.

On November 30, 1999, the area officially became part of the city of Ontario. It was then called "New Model Colony." This name honored William Chaffey and George Chaffey. They were brothers who bought the land in 1881 and planned Ontario to be a great example for other cities.

What Ontario Ranch Will Be Like

Ontario Ranch is designed to be a huge area where people can live, work, and play. It covers 8,069 acres, which is a lot of space! The plan includes 1,000 acres just for parks, open spaces, and schools. These areas will be connected by paths and trails.

This community will be built over about 20 years. When it's finished, Ontario Ranch will have 47,000 homes and 162,000 residents. It will also have 16 million square feet of shops, offices, medical centers, and eight new schools.

How Ontario Ranch is Being Planned

Right now, about 2,900 acres have been approved for building. This includes homes for single families, apartments, shops, and business parks. Another 447 acres are being planned for more homes and industrial buildings.
