Mahmood Abdul-Ghafur, known as Oryn the Rebel, is an American rapper. He is from Boston, Massachusetts. Oryn often works with famous artists and new talents from around the world.
He also helped start Project Hybrid. This is a music group that mixes different styles of music. Oryn the Rebel has been featured on "Underground Heat" mixtapes. These mixtapes were hosted by New York DJ Grandmaster Caz.
Oryn the Rebel used to be called Oryn. Another rapper, Leo the Godless, gave him the name "the Rebel."
