Otelfingen is a town in Switzerland. It is located in the Dielsdorf area, within the Zürich canton. The center of Otelfingen has many traditional timber-framed houses. These special buildings are so important that they are listed in a national inventory of Swiss sites.

Otelfingen was first mentioned in old records in the year 1044. At that time, it was called Otilingun. Later, in 1079, a person named Notkerus de Otelfingen was mentioned. This shows the town's name was already well-known.
