The Paiute-Shoshone Tribe of the Fallon Reservation and Colony is a Native American tribe. They are officially recognized by the United States government. This tribe is made up of both Northern Paiute and Western Shoshone people. They live in Churchill County, Nevada. Their special name for themselves is Toi Ticutta. This name means "Cattail Eaters."

The Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe has a special homeland called the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Reservation. This reservation is located in Churchill County, Nevada. It was set up in 1887. The reservation covers about 5,540 acres (22.4 square kilometers). In 2005, about 1,692 people lived there. By 2017, the tribe had 1,499 members.

There is also a smaller area called the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Colony. This colony is closer to the city of Fallon. It has two separate parts. These parts are located between downtown Fallon and the Fallon Municipal Airport.

How the Tribe is Governed

The Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe has its main office in Fallon, Nevada. The tribe is led by a group of seven people. This group is called the tribal council. The tribal council makes important decisions for the tribe. In 2009, Len George was the chairperson of the tribal council.

The tribe has its own monthly newspaper. It is called Numa News. This newspaper shares important information with the tribal members.
