Palo Pinto Creek is a river located in Texas, United States. It flows through three different counties: Eastland, Stephens, and Palo Pinto. This creek is a smaller stream that eventually flows into a much larger river known as the Brazos River.

The Journey of Palo Pinto Creek

Palo Pinto Creek begins its journey near the city of Ranger. From its starting point, the creek flows mainly towards the northeast. It then makes a turn and flows east, passing by the towns of Strawn and Mingus.

After flowing past these towns, the creek turns northeast once more. It then enters and fills up a large body of water called Lake Palo Pinto. This lake acts like a big storage area for the creek's water. Finally, Palo Pinto Creek turns east again and joins the Brazos River. This meeting point is located north of New Salem, which is about 50 miles west of Fort Worth.
