Paragon is a small town located in Morgan County, Indiana, in the United States. It's part of Ray Township. In 2020, about 556 people lived there. This was a bit less than the 659 people who lived there in 2010.

History of Paragon
Paragon started as a community in the early 1850s. The very first store opened its doors in 1852. A post office has been helping people send mail in Paragon since 1868.
Geography
Paragon is in the southwestern part of Morgan County. It's located along Indiana State Road 67. This road goes northeast about 8 miles (13 km) to Martinsville. Martinsville is the main town and government center for the county. The road also goes southwest about 16 miles (26 km) to Spencer.
The U.S. Census Bureau says Paragon covers a total area of 0.28 square miles (0.71 square kilometers). All of this area is land. The town sits in the valley of the White River. This river flows about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south of Paragon.
