Patrick Nuo's Music Career
In 2002, Patrick met a producer and songwriter named David Jost. David helped Patrick get a music contract with Warner Music. Over the next few months, they worked together to create an album. This album, called Welcome, came out in September 2003.
Welcome was a top 20 hit in Switzerland and Germany. It included three singles. His first song, "5 Days," and the next one, "Reanimate," were popular. "Reanimate" reached number 18 on the Swiss Singles Chart.
In the same year, Patrick joined Zeichen der Zeit. This was a Christian music project. Their first song, "Du bist nicht allein," became a top ten hit in Germany. Another song from their album, "Ein weiterer Morgen," also did well. It reached the top 40 in Germany the next year. In 2004, a new version of Welcome was released. It featured the song "Undone." This song was used as the theme for the movie Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed in German-speaking countries.
In May 2005, Patrick released his second album, Superglue. This album became his highest-charting album in Switzerland. It reached number four on the Swiss Albums Chart. Two singles came from Superglue: "Girl in the Moon" and "Beautiful." "Beautiful" became his first and only top ten hit. It reached number nine in Switzerland and number seven in Austria.
In 2006, Patrick worked again with Zeichen der Zeit. They made their second album, Generation David. He also helped with a charity song called "Won't Forget These Days." This song was a cover of a Fury in the Slaughterhouse song. It was released during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
