Patrick Seymour's Early Music Career

Patrick Seymour studied classical music at Oxford University. After finishing his studies, he joined the British funk band called UK Players. Joining Eurythmics

In 1983, Patrick Seymour started working with a different record company, RCA. This led him to meet the famous music duo Eurythmics. A duo is a group of two people. He joined Eurythmics as their keyboard player for their world tour in 1984. A world tour means they traveled around the world performing concerts.

Patrick continued to record music and tour with Eurythmics for the rest of the 1980s. He also helped write songs for their albums Revenge (1986) and We Too Are One (1989).
