Paulo Roberto Jamelli Júnior, known simply as Jamelli, was born on July 22, 1974. He is a Brazilian football coach and a former player. Jamelli mostly played as a forward, which means he was an attacker on the field.

Jamelli's Football Journey
Jamelli started his professional football career in his hometown of São Paulo, Brazil. He played for São Paulo FC in the top Brazilian league, known as Série A. He played seven games for them.
Playing for Santos FC
Jamelli really started to shine when he joined Santos FC. He scored 13 goals for Santos over two seasons. His great performance caught the eye of teams outside Brazil.
Moving to Japan and Spain
In 1997, Jamelli moved to Japan to play for Kashiwa Reysol. He then moved to Spain in January 1998 to play for Real Zaragoza. Zaragoza needed a strong attacker, and Jamelli was a great fit.
Success at Real Zaragoza
Jamelli was a very important player for Zaragoza, even if he wasn't always in the starting lineup. In the 2000–01 season, he scored his highest number of goals in a single season, with 13 goals in La Liga. That same year, Zaragoza won the Copa del Rey, which is a big cup competition in Spain. Jamelli even scored a goal in the final game, helping his team win 3–1 against Celta de Vigo.
Returning to Brazil
After Zaragoza was moved down to a lower league in 2002, Jamelli played a bit in the Segunda División. In January 2003, he returned to Brazil and joined Corinthians. He continued to play for different teams, including Shimizu S-Pulse in Japan and UD Almería in Spain. He also played for Atlético Mineiro and Grêmio Prudente in Brazil. Jamelli ended his playing career in 2006.
After Playing: Coaching and Coordination
In 2008, Jamelli took on a new role as a technical coordinator for Coritiba. This job involves helping with the team's training and strategy. However, he left this position in April 2009 due to some personal disagreements with the coach at the time.
