In 1995, Paulo Nunes moved to Grêmio, a club in Porto Alegre. Here, he teamed up with another great player, Jardel. Together, they formed one of the best attacking duos in Grêmio's history.

Grêmio's Golden Era

At Grêmio, Paulo Nunes had the most successful period of his career. He helped the team win two Campeonato Gaúcho titles, which are state championships. Success with Palmeiras

After a short time playing in Portugal for S.L. Benfica, Paulo Nunes returned to Brazil in 1998. He joined Palmeiras, another strong Brazilian club.
