Peace Iced Tea, often called Peace Tea, is a brand of iced tea drinks. It is made by the Coca-Cola Company. The drink first came out on December 21, 2007.
Peace Tea does not have artificial flavors or colors. However, it does contain an artificial sweetener called sucralose. One flavor, Unsweetened Tea, did not have sucralose, but it was stopped in 2012. Peace Tea is sold in 23 oz cans in the United States. In Canada, it comes in 695 mL cans.
Peace Tea competes with other iced tea brands. These include Arizona, Snapple, and Pepsi.
In 2015, the Coca-Cola Company bought part of the Monster Beverage Company. Because of this, all non-energy drinks, like Peace Tea, moved to the Coca-Cola Company.

What Inspired Peace Tea?
The peace symbol is a well-known sign for peace around the world. This symbol was the main idea behind creating Peace Tea. The brand's website says, "Peace Tea is whatever you want it to be." It also says the drink "stands for social awareness."
The Art on Peace Tea Cans
The company wanted to make their products look like art. This helped them move away from just using the peace symbol for business. You could still see the Monster logo on the first designs.
The first Peace Tea can designs were made by Steve Jugan and artist John Malloy. They wanted to honor different peace movements from history. John Malloy is an artist who mixes different art styles. His drawings have been in many books. His artwork helped each Peace Tea can tell a story.
When Peace Tea joined the Coca-Cola Company in 2015, they started using simpler can designs.
