Pedro Casado Bucho (born November 20, 1937 – died January 10, 2021) was a Spanish football player. He was a defender, meaning he helped protect his team's goal. Casado spent most of his career playing for Real Madrid, one of the most famous football clubs in the world.
Pedro Casado's Club Career
Pedro Casado played for Real Madrid for ten years. During this time, he played in seven seasons of La Liga, which is Spain's top football league. He was part of a very successful team.
Casado helped Real Madrid win many important titles. He won six national championships in La Liga. Five of these were won one after another! He also won two European Cups. Even though he didn't play in the final games for these European Cup wins (in 1956–57 and 1965–66), he was still a part of the winning squad.
After leaving Real Madrid, Casado played three more seasons in the top league with CE Sabadell FC. He then moved to play for Club Deportivo Toluca in Santander. He stopped playing professional football in 1971 when he was 33 years old.
Playing for Spain
Pedro Casado also had the chance to play for his country, Spain. He earned one "cap," which means he played in one official game for the national team.
