Pedro and Frankensheep was a fun animated TV show from the BBC. It was about a super-smart guinea pig and his cyborg sheep friend! The show aired in 2008 on CBBC and BBC One. It was created by BBC producer Philip T. Cooper, who worked with filmmakers The Brothers McLeod to make the characters and stories.

What is Pedro and Frankensheep About?
The series follows the exciting adventures of Pedro, a very clever guinea pig scientist. Pedro escaped from a lab because experiments made his brain super big! He teamed up with his special home-made sheep, Frankensheep. Frankensheep is a cyborg, which means he's part sheep and part robot.
Frankensheep also had two tiny tick friends living on his head. These ticks were named Hector and Hugo. They were known as "The Brain Ticks" and even played mariachi music! The show is set in Lake Poopó, Bolivia.
Who Are the Main Characters?
- Pedro is a guinea pig scientist. He is super smart because of experiments he went through. Simon Greenall provided Pedro's voice.
- Frankensheep is a special sheep that Pedro built. He is a cyborg, meaning he's part animal and part machine. Myles McLeod, one of the show's creators, voiced Frankensheep.
- Hector & Hugo are two small ticks. They live on Frankensheep's head and are known for playing mariachi music.
When Did the Show Air?
Pedro and Frankensheep had ten episodes. Each episode was about five minutes long. They were shown on the CBBC Channel. You could watch them on weekdays at 4:30 PM. The show first aired on February 25, 2008, and the last episode was on March 7, 2008.
Special Appearances
Before the show officially started, Pedro and Frankensheep were featured on the CBBC website. They were part of the 2007 Christmas Advent Calendar. You could even watch the episodes there when the series was new.
One episode, Sleep, Guinea Pig, Sleep, was put on YouTube early. It appeared online on January 10, 2008. This was a whole month before it was shown on TV! Also, part of another episode, What a Nugget, appeared on a TV screen in the famous Doctor Who episode Silence in the Library. This happened on May 31, 2008.
