Peers is a small community called a hamlet in west-central Alberta, Canada. It's part of Yellowhead County. You can find it on Highway 32, about 8 kilometers (5 miles) north of the main Yellowhead Highway (Highway 16). It's also about 35 kilometers (22 miles) northeast of Edson.
A small stream called January Creek flows right next to Peers. This creek is a branch of the McLeod River. Peers is also known for its yearly event called Peers Gold Dust Daze. This fun event happens a few miles outside the hamlet. Statistics Canada officially recognizes Peers as a "designated place." This means it's a specific area with clear boundaries for counting people.
