What Makes Perlilla Special?
Perlilla covers a large area, a bit bigger than 30 square kilometers (about 11.5 square miles). Most of this area is easy to reach from the nearby town of Chacas.
A Great Place for Winter Sports
Imagine a huge snowy playground! About 14 square kilometers (over 5 square miles) of Perlilla's northern part are covered in snow. This area is perfect for winter sports like skiing or snowboarding. The slopes are gentle enough, not usually steeper than 50 degrees.
Because Perlilla is so close to the equator (at 9 degrees south latitude), it could be one of the highest ski centers near the equator. It's even bigger than the famous Chacaltaya ski track in Bolivia. Perlilla has a massive area of snow, making it a great spot for developing winter sports.
