Pete van Wieren (born October 7, 1944 – died August 2, 2014) was a famous American sportscaster. A sportscaster is someone who describes sports events on TV or radio. Pete van Wieren was best known as one of the main voices for the Major League Baseball team, the Atlanta Braves. He often worked alongside another popular broadcaster, Skip Caray.
