Peter Abraham Haskell (born October 15, 1934 – died April 12, 2010) was an American actor. He was well-known for his many roles, especially on television.

Early Life and Education
Peter Haskell was born in Boston, Massachusetts. His mother was Rose Golden, and his father was Norman Haskell. Norman was a geophysicist, a scientist who studies the Earth's physical processes.
Peter went to a school called Browne & Nichols. After that, he joined the United States Army for two years. He reached the rank of Private First Class. Later, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University.
Acting Career
Peter Haskell had planned to study law after college. However, his plans changed when he got a part in an off-Broadway play called The Love Nest. He acted alongside famous actors like James Earl Jones.
Even though the play didn't run for long, it helped him get noticed. Soon after, he appeared in an episode of a TV show called Death Valley Days. This was the start of his acting career.
Television Roles
Peter Haskell became a familiar face on television. He made guest appearances on many popular shows. These included The Outer Limits, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and The Fugitive.
He also appeared in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Charlie's Angels, and The A-Team. Later, he was seen in Matlock and Murder, She Wrote.
Peter was a regular actor on the soap operas Search for Tomorrow and Ryan's Hope. He also had a main role in the series Bracken's World. He played recurring characters in shows like Garrison's Gorillas.
Film Appearances
Besides TV, Peter Haskell also acted in movies. He played the main character in The Legend of Earl Durand in 1974. He also appeared in Riding the Edge and Robot Wars.
He is perhaps best known for his role as Mr. Sullivan. This character was the CEO of Playpals Toys in the horror movies Child's Play 2 (1990) and Child's Play 3 (1991).
Personal Life
Peter Haskell was married twice. His first marriage was to Annie Compton, from 1960 to 1974. In 1974, he married Dianne Tolmich.
He was a member of the Episcopal Church, which is a Christian church. Peter was also a lifelong supporter of the Democratic Party. This means he believed in liberal ideas and policies.
Peter Haskell passed away on April 12, 2010. His daughter, Audra, shared the news of his death. He was cremated after his passing.
