Peters Lake (also called lac Peters in French) is a lake found in the northern part of Ontario, Canada. It is located in the Sudbury District, a large area in northeastern Ontario. This lake is part of a bigger system of waterways that eventually flows into Lake Superior.

How Water Flows Through Peters Lake
Water flows into and out of Peters Lake.

- Outflow: The main stream that flows out of Peters Lake is at its northern end. This stream is also unnamed. It carries water north to another lake called Windermere Lake.
The water from Peters Lake then continues on a long journey to Lake Superior.

- The Windermere River then leads to Shikwamkwa Lake.
- From Shikwamkwa Lake, the water goes into the Shikwamkwa River.
- Next, it flows into Whitefish Lake.
- Finally, the water travels through the Michipicoten River before reaching the vast waters of Lake Superior.
