Pettnau is a small town, also called a municipality, in the Tyrol region of Austria. It's located in the Innsbruck-Land area, about 16.7 kilometers (about 10 miles) west of the city of Innsbruck. Pettnau is found north of the Inn River, nestled between the towns of Telfs and Zirl. This charming place has seven different parts and was first established a very long time ago, around the year 1291.
