Peyton Bryce Thompson (born September 26, 1990) is an American former professional football player. He played as a safety. Peyton played college football at San Jose State University. He was also a member of several NFL teams. These included the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears, and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Peyton Thompson grew up in Granite Bay, California. He went to Granite Bay High School there.
College Football Journey
Peyton played college football for the San Jose State Spartans. He was part of the team from 2008 to 2011. During his time in college, he made 186 total tackles. He also caught seven interceptions from opposing teams.
Playing in the NFL
Peyton Thompson started his professional football journey in 2012. He was not chosen in the NFL Draft that year. However, he still got a chance to play for different teams.
Atlanta Falcons
Peyton signed with the Atlanta Falcons on May 2, 2012. He was later released by the team. But he joined their practice squad on September 2, 2012. A practice squad is where players train with the team. They can be called up to play if needed. He was released by the Falcons again in August 2013.
Washington Redskins
Peyton then joined the Washington Redskins' practice squad. This happened on November 27, 2013. He stayed with them for some time. The Redskins released him in August 2014.
Chicago Bears
