Phir Laut Aayi Naagin is a popular Indian TV show. Its name means "The Female Shape-Shifting Serpent Has Returned". This Hindi-language series was about supernatural events and fantasy. The Story of the Serpent
The story begins with Shivani, a special serpent known as a naagin. She can change her shape to look like a human. Shivani returns after 12 years to find her true love, Nagraj. Nagraj was a powerful serpent king who was killed for a magical gem called the naagamani.
Shivani's Search
Shivani's wise teacher, her guru, told her that Nagraj was reborn. He was reborn into Anand's family. So, Shivani takes the form of a 12-year-old girl. She goes to Anand's large family home to find him.
When she arrives, she finds two boys, Raj and Mohan. Both boys were born on the same day. This makes it hard for Shivani to know who Nagraj is. She asks her guru for help. Her guru tells her that only she can truly identify Nagraj.
Shivani then remembers something important. Nagraj once told her he would always have a star-shaped mole. This mole would be on him even if he was reborn a hundred times. Shivani uses this clue to try and find him. But she faces many challenges and fails several times.
Anand's Secret
Meanwhile, Anand discovers that a serpent is living in his house. He learns this with the help of a wise sage. Anand is the one who, with his friend and driver Lakshman, killed Nagraj for the precious naagamani. He soon realizes that the naagin (Shivani) has come back to get revenge on him.
Shivani finally sees the star symbol on Raj's arm. She realizes that Raj is her beloved Nagraj! However, before she can do anything, the sage captures her. Shivani is then trapped in a box and buried under a tree. She stays there for nine long years.
The Truth Revealed
After nine years, Anand has become one of the richest people in the world. This is all thanks to the power of the naagamani. He announces that his son, Mohan, will take over his new project.
As Mohan and Raj return home, Shivani notices something surprising. Mohan also has a star symbol, but it's on his back. Her guru had once told her that Nagraj would be the son of the wealthiest person. This makes her confused again.
Shivani tries to explain to Mohan that he was Nagraj in his past life. But Mohan does not believe her. Later, a powerful woman named Mahadurgi knows a big secret about Mohan and Raj's births. She reveals that she swapped the two babies when they were born. Raj is actually Anand's son, and Mohan is Lakshman's son.
In the end, it is finally revealed that Raj is the true Nagraj. Mohan, on the other hand, is a different kind of serpent called Garudanaag.
